Almost every gutter problem we see in Orlando traces back to one of four failures: hangers pulled out of the fascia by wet oak debris, corners and old sectional joints that leak, overflow that has started to rot the soffit, and sealant that gave out after a few hurricane seasons. Our truck carries hidden hangers, industrial-grade sealant, slope shims, fascia patch material and replacement downspout sections, so most repairs are finished the same day we quote them.
Wet leaves and seed pods get heavy. Old spike-and-ferrule hangers work loose from the fascia until the run sags and water pools instead of draining. We re-hang the run with screw-fastened hidden hangers.
Sealant at corners and sectional joints dries out after several summers of sun and storms. We clean the joint back to bare metal and reseal it instead of smearing new caulk over old.
If water spills over the front edge in a summer downpour while the gutter is clean, the pitch is off or the downspouts are undersized. We re-slope the run and can swap 2×3 downspouts for 3×4, roughly 75% more capacity.
Streaks down the stucco and soft wood behind the gutter mean water has been getting behind it for a while. We patch the fascia before re-hanging so the new fasteners bite into solid wood.

Resealing one leaking corner or reattaching a single downspout sits at the minimum; re-hanging a whole two-story home and replacing its downspouts sits at the top of the range. We will tell you when repair stops making sense. For aluminum gutters that is usually around the 15-year mark, or when more than 30% of the gutter length needs work — past that point a new seamless system costs less over its life than a string of patches, and it comes with a 20-year material warranty.
